Video Editing Course - Premiere Pro
This course is designed to teach students how to sort, filter, and import Adobe Premiere Pro videos based on their storyboards, and then learn how to edit. Students will have the opportunity to explore the skills of professional short film editors and eventually share their work on social media platforms.
Introduction to post-production and software
Learn about the essential elements of a video (Edited clips, sound, atmosphere, effects, etc.)
Learning about storyboards, and conceiving story topics and footages
Get to know Premiere Pro, including basic workflow, interface, functions etc.
Post-Editing with Premiere Pro
Footages importing and sequencing according to the drafted storyboard
Learn how to use Premiere Pro, such as importing footage, basic editing skills, adding subtitles, etc.
Edit the clips into the essence, add appropriate music, special effects, color correction, transitions and other effects
During editing, specially teach students how to enhance the sense of cinema in the picture
The special plus section allows students to appreciate the masterpieces and exchange ideas with each other
Conclusion and industry exploration sharing
According to multiple scoring criteria, such as the main content of the work, selection of materials, editing skills, visual presentation methods, etc., evaluate the students' works and provide suggestions for improvement.
